Review & Badge Policy

This KlassMatch Review & Badge Policy (the Policy) explains eligibility for Provider reviews and the meaning of review-related and verification-related badges on KlassMatch. In this Policy, KlassMatch, we, us, and our mean KlassMatch.

1. Review Eligibility

A Parent may submit one review of a Provider only when the Parent has an eligible relationship with that specific Provider through KlassMatch. An eligible relationship requires a confirmed registration or a completed registration with that Provider.

A Parent may not submit a qualifying review where the only registration is waitlisted or cancelled, or where the Parent has no qualifying registration with that Provider. Providers may not review themselves.

An eligible Parent may update the existing review for the applicable Provider. Updating a review does not create a duplicate qualifying review.

2. Review Authenticity and Prohibited Conduct

Reviews must reflect the reviewer’s genuine experience and honest opinion. Users may not submit, request, arrange, encourage, or participate in:

• fake or fabricated reviews;
• impersonation;
• reviews submitted by Providers about themselves;
• compensation or incentives conditioned on a positive rating or review;
• coercion, retaliation, or intimidation related to a review;
• review manipulation;
• coordinated attempts to artificially increase or decrease ratings;
• misuse of registrations or accounts to manipulate badge eligibility;
• false statements presented as fact; or
• unlawful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, infringing, or privacy-violating content.

KlassMatch may moderate, restrict, remove, or preserve review content when reasonably necessary to enforce platform rules, protect users, address fraud or security concerns, or comply with law. KlassMatch does not independently verify every factual statement contained in every review.

3. KlassMatch Verified

KlassMatch Verified is separate from review-based badges. It reflects only the identity, contact, and web-presence verification process actually performed by KlassMatch.

KlassMatch Verified is not a background check, licensing verification, insurance verification, document verification, certification, endorsement, recommendation, procurement approval, safety determination, or guarantee of a Provider’s quality, conduct, qualifications, suitability, or results.

4. Highly Rated

A Provider qualifies for the Highly Rated badge only while both of the following are true:

• the Provider has at least 25 eligible Parent reviews; and
• the Provider’s average rating is 4.5 stars or higher.

5. Parent Favorite

A Provider qualifies for the Parent Favorite badge only while both of the following are true:

• the Provider has at least 50 eligible Parent reviews; and
• the Provider’s average rating is 4.8 stars or higher.

6. Dynamic Review-Based Badges

Highly Rated and Parent Favorite are calculated dynamically. If a Provider’s eligible review count or average rating falls below the applicable threshold, the badge may be removed.

Review-based badges are independent of KlassMatch Verified.

7. Deleted Parent Reviews

If an eligible Parent account is later deleted, an otherwise-valid retained review may remain. When retained, it will be anonymized and displayed as KlassMatch Parent.

An anonymized retained review may continue to count toward applicable review-based badges if it remains otherwise valid.

8. Provider Responses

Where KlassMatch allows a Provider to respond to a review, Provider responses must follow the same standards against harassment, retaliation, privacy violations, unlawful content, and manipulation.

9. No Guarantees

Ratings, reviews, and badges represent platform information and user feedback. They are not guarantees by KlassMatch. Users should independently evaluate Providers and programs before making decisions.

10. Relationship to Other Terms

This Policy should be read with the KlassMatch Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Provider Terms, Organization Terms, and other applicable KlassMatch policies. If applicable law provides a right that cannot be waived by this Policy, that law controls.
